Create an document in your Google Drive and share it with me

STEP 1 - CREATE a Google account IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ONE.

  1. Go to Google.com
  2. Click Sign In
  3. Click Sign UP
  4. Complete the information requested to create your new account. If available use your full name in the account name.

STEP 2 - SIGN INTO GOOGLE
  1. Go to your Google DRIVE
  2. Create a new folder for the class
  3. Title it: WEB DESIGN I
  4. Go into that folder
  5. Create a new document
  6. Title it: Introduction
  7. Type an essay following these instructions and share it with me:
  • Paragraph 1 - First tell me what you know about web site development and what you hope to learn.
  • Paragraph 2 - Write an essay telling me about yourself in a minimum of 6 sentences. . Tell me about your family, ethnic background, your hobbies, interests, what you did this summer, your goals this year, future goals and what kind of student you are, etc.
  • Paragraph 3 - Examine the different Google apps - Pick four different apps , name and discuss.

STEP 3 - SHARE YOUR ESSAY WITH ME:
  1. Click on the SHARE button in sight.
  2. At the bottom of the window under INVITE PEOPLE type: buterawork@gmail.com - change from edit to COMMENT permissions

STEP 4 - Go to the TODAY'S WORK page and do the next assignment for the day's class.
