OBJECTIVE: Learn HTML & Dreamweaver
.ASSIGNMENT OVERVIEW:You will create a simple multi-page web site about a “mock” business of your choice using Notepad and HTML.

Prepare for this project:
  1. Go inside your Web Design I folder and create a new folder & name it: MyBusiness.
  2. Save ALL FILES related to this project in that folder. This is called the ROOT FOLDER of the site.
  3. Create a home page for this site and save it as: index.html This file MUST be saved in the MYBusiness folder. Hint: Copy and past your last index.html page into the MyBusiness folder and delete all the tags between the <BODY> & </BODY> tags except the first <H1> tag line and start developing you page. NOTE: The home page of EVERY web site and the home page of this site is named index.html

Instructions:
Your site must have the following pages:
  1. Home (also know as index)
  2. Products
  3. Events
  4. Newsletter
  5. Contact

Include a navigation bar at the top of your page with working links to the other pages: Home | Products | Events | Newsletter | Contact Us

Step 1 - Decide on a business and other site details
  1. Complete the My Business Project Sheet

Step 2 - Create your pages
Each partner should decide which page they are doing.

PRODUCTS (this could also say SERVICES depending upon your business)
Create a page that contains a table that supplies the following: name of product or service, a description and cost


CONTACT US
Create a page with all necessary contact information
View other web site's contact page for ideas.
Include full address - use the address:

Find out how to put a Google map on your location page. Hint: Google Map Widget
Include: Telephone number, fax number and a working email contact link. (Use the "mailto" HTML code for the email so that it becomes a working link to an email dialog box.)
