OTHER CITATION INFORMATION

The University at Albany Libraries has a really good guide to citation tools, with links and descriptions, here:
http://libguides.library.albany.edu/citationgenerators

The tab “Free Citation Generators” starts with BibMe, which from what I’ve read, appears to be the most comprehensive and least complicated of the free tools. It allows you to switch between citation styles for your bibliography, generate citations without having to manually enter all the fields, and save multiple bibliographies after registering for an account. Two others listed,Mendeley and Zotero, are broader tools that will allow you to import PDFs and cite saved sources in-document, but may be overkill for basic term paper use. Mendeley is really aimed at academic researchers in math and the sciences, so I have not had much experience with it. Zotero has a devoted following, especially since it is used in concert with the Firefox browser.
